NJ’s Best Kids Sports & Movement Classes
Your child can join our sports & physical education classes in our Hoboken location as well as your child's school & daycare. The age-appropriate classes are for children ages 18 months and older and feature a variety of sports and activities with little ones learning movement and motor skills in a safe, engaging environment and older children practicing basic skills in soccer, baseball, golf, basketball, volleyball, tennis, lacrosse and more. Your child will gain self-confidence in their physical ability while making new friends
in a nurturing and supportive community.
classes for every age
lil' sport (18mo - 2.5yrs)
Lil’ Sport is a sport-focused 1 hour or 45-minute class in which parent or caregiver participation is required. This class is designed for children ages 18 months to 2.5 years of age. Class seasons range from 8-15 weeks. Try-Outs as well as pro-rated seasons if space permits.
Children will work on developing coordination, strength, balance, and locomotor skills. Our group setting will provide ample opportunities for children to practice sharing, following directions, and socialization with peers.
The children will benefit from a fun-filled consistent progressive routine and engage in activities that all correspond to the sport being introduced that week. Sports include hockey, basketball, tennis, bowling, volleyball, soccer, track and field, baseball, and more all age-appropriate of course! Adults can be active participants in class but our ultimate goal is to allow MVP’s to learn to participate independently.
Rookie (2.5 - 3.5yrs)
The Rookie is a 1 hour or 45-minute sport-focused class in which parent or caregiver participation is optional based on the needs of the child but is not a drop-off class and designed for children ages 2.5-3.5 years of age. Try-outs are welcome once the season has begun and pro-rated rates are available.
Children will work on developing coordination, strength, balance, and locomotor skills while learning the fundamentals of many different sports. Our group setting will provide ample opportunities for children to practice sharing, following directions, and socialization with peers.
Our MVP’s will benefit from a fun-filled consistent routine that includes music, parachute time, and various gross and fine motor activities that all correspond to the sport being introduced that week. Sports include hockey, basketball, tennis, bowling, volleyball, soccer, track and field, baseball, and more! Adults can be active participants in class but our ultimate goal is to allow MVP’s to learn to participate independently.
Rookie overtime (2.5 - 4yrs)
Want more TIA in your game? You got it! Rookie Overtime is a multi-sport 3-hour drop off 'athletes' ages 2.5-4 years old designed to devlope independece from their caregiver(s). Rookie OT is definitely not your average pre-k prep class. We emphasise and value learning through play and movement. You can think of Rookie OT as a sports-inspired pre-k prep class that is the perfect balance of structure, sports time, craft time, snack time, outdoor play, & so much more. Just like our 1 hour Rookie classes, we will focus and introduce a brand new sport every other week. Class involves a warmup, green wall story time, skill play, game play, crafts, and some creative active play too! Nice day outside? Let's head outside to the field and playground to get that much needed Vitamin D!

SLUGGERS (1.5 - 3yrs)
Sluggers is a special sport-focused 45 minute or 1 hour in which parent or caregiver participation is required. This class is designed for a wider age range of children ages 18 months up to 3 years of age.
Children will work on developing coordination, strength, balance, and locomotor skills by learning skills through sports. Our group setting will provide ample opportunities for children to practice sharing, following directions, and socialization with peers. The children will benefit from a fun-filled consistent progressive routine and engage in activities that all correspond to the sport being introduced that week.
Sports include and are limited to hockey, basketball, tennis, bowling, volleyball, soccer, track and field, baseball, and more all age-appropriate of course! Adults will be active participants in class but our ultimate goal is to allow the Sluggers' to gain more confidence and therefore more independence each week.
TIA SOCCER (all ages)
Everyone scores BIG the TIA way. Our 'goal' during this instructional drop-off class is to implement our playful and democratic teaching style to engage all of the students in the class. The coaches will describe and model the age-appropriate drills/games which focus on the fundamentals of soccer: game play, passing, shooting, throwing, dribbling, teamwork, and defense.
The new skill practiced every two weeks is designed to build individual abilities and self-confidence as well as boosting their physical conditioning and strength. Skills are consistently reinforced and sportsmanship is always emphasized during their bi-weekly scrimmage. The athletes will learn soccer fundamentals and rules of the game, increase their overall fitness level, as well as enhance their social and emotional competence in this high energy and fun environment with our highly trained TIA coaches.
Jv & Varsity (3 - 8yrs)
The JV (pre-school)/Varsity Program (K-2nd) is an instructional drop-off class that is designed for children preschool aged children to second grade. Each season lasts between 8-15 weeks and can be pro-rated.
Sports include but are not limited to hockey, basketball, tennis, soccer, t-ball, bowling, baseball, track and field, football and more!
These sports and activities are designed to help your child learn the basic fundamentals such as throwing, catching, kicking, body awareness, and fair play while developing gross and fine motor skills both individually and in team scenarios. All of our drills are never done in a monotonous fashion. Instead, we teach the skills in a highly active but controlled environment that promotes healthy competition and teamwork.
Our cheerleading program for young children is geared toward those interested in learning the foundational skills of cheerleading in a fun, inclusive and non-competitive environment. Created and taught by former national all-star cheerleading champion and Hoboken mom Michelle Mazurkiewicz, this program will focus on introducing and honing the fundamental elements of cheerleading including motions, jumps, cheer, dance, stunts, performance and more.
We’ll focus on confidence, positivity, strength all while having a blast and learning a lot! And each multi-week session will culminate with a routine incorporating a sample of what we have learned.
